Don’t be fooled by online CPR Classes

Online CPR classes are all over the internet, but please do not be fooled by them. We have countless students that fall victim to these scams, they watch a video and receive a CPR certificate that is NOT ACCEPTED ANYWHERE. We know it is tempting because you can do it at home and they are extremely cheap. What happens is you get the certificate and turn it into school or work and they tell you it is not acceptable….MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN. So you end up paying for the online course and then have to come and take an authorized class, which combined, costs you much more money that you needed to spend.

Marion CPR is an Authorized American Heart Association training center that only provides two year certifications through the American Heart Association that is accepted everywhere. If you work in the medical field, are a first responder, work inside a medical facility or are planning to go to school to get a degree then you MUST get the American Heart Association Certifications. The American Heart Association is the premier organization because they are the ones that conduct all the research and set all the guidelines for healthcare workers and others. Some companies such as ASHI or RED CROSS my sound good because of their marketing, but they are not the same, nor as accepted as the American Heart Association.

Now, if you are a healthcare provider or are going to school to become one, then you will need what is called the Basic Life Support, commonly referred to as BLS, in order for your school or workplace to accept it. Good news is that the BLS provider course is only $35.00 at Marion CPR and we offer courses Monday through Saturday so it is easy to get into a class. Rest assured, you will receive your certification the same day as you take the class.

Marion CPR also offers the layrescuer CPR/AED and First Aid, CPR/AED courses for those either not in the medical field or not planning to do so. Marion CPR also offers several other courses for healthcare professional including the ACLS, PALS and combo courses to save time and money.
